Organized by women, the Clemson Women's Solidarity Rally is a fully inclusive, nonviolent movement to unify and empower everyone who stands for human rights, civil liberties, and social justice for ALL. This Rally is a sister event in support of the Women's March on Washington, a global movement, holding over 280 events on the same day in support of Human Rights. Momentum is building!
The event will be nonpartisan and diverse, focused on equality and inclusion, not on political criticism, and will involve campus and community groups.
Marchers will gather at Littlejohn Community Center (LCC) for a step off at 10:00 AM. There is ample parking at LCC with overflow to Abel Baptist Church nearby.
The March will proceed along the sidewalk on Highway 93 to the Clemson University Campus.
Signs, posters, and banners are welcome. Please comply with Sister March agreements.
A Teach-In/Rally will begin in Hardin Hall 100 at approximately 11:00 AM and concluding at noon.
